School Auction Project

This is the auction project my students and I created.
Titled "Texture on Canvas" this canvas measures 40x30 inches and was painted with acrylic paints.
I painted the color and added the texture (click for a close up). Then I helped the students add their hand prints. This painting sold for several hundred dollars and I am so please that my class was able to raise such a great sum of money for the school.

I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted to my own blog!

Let me update;

Completed my Professional Certification June 2009 and my Masters in Education December 2009. Since then I have moved into a new apartment and I am now teaching 3rd, 4th and 5th grade at the same private school.

I have released the salamanders and I am currently going for weekend frog hunts. It is supposed to snow this week, so the frogs have not been too busy with eggs yet.

My new (frozen) bird bath during the November 2010 cold snap! Now the bowl has a crack in the bottom and will not hold water.
